The Town Council of Hamelin is worried because the town is infested with rodents. The Pied Piper, a wandering musician, is offered a fee and hired by the Mayor and townsfolk to rid the town of the rats. The Piper plays an irresistible tune on his pipe and leads the rats to the river where they all drown. The mayor refuses to pay the the agreed fee to the Piper and so he looks to retaliate...
